Hi there! I'm Rachel, and I'm currently an undergraduate at Purdue University (Boiler up!) in West Lafayette, Indiana studying Elementary Education. If I had my way, every day would include mugs of hot tea, long conversations with friends, half-filled journals, and new adventures. I love to work out, and I also love to nap. When I'm not doing homework, I'm probably spending time with friends, making smoothies, watching The Office, conjugating Spanish verbs (for fun), journaling, or daydreaming about the future.

Overall, I'm probably the most reluctant person to ever become an oiler. For years I've been one of those hippies that uses baking soda for shampoo and makes avocado face masks, but for some reason, I was more willing to put eggs in my hair than to try essential oils. As someone who values relationships above almost everything else, I didn't want to be involved with some big company where I tried to push strangers to buy products that I barely used myself.

After six thousand questions and a lot of skepticism, I finally began using essential oils. Since embarking on this journey, I have asked a thousand more questions and wondered if essential oils actually do anything. Despite my doubt, I've found that essential oils do work. Building relationships fuels my life, and I love the little moments when girls stop by and ask why my open dorm room smells so good. I get to share with them about essential oils, but more than that, I'm building friendships as we sit on my futon and chat. More than the health benefits or the pleasant fragrance wafting from my room, I love the opportunities to meet people and go deeper into their lives.

We might not be able to sit on the futon in my dorm together, drinking a cup of tea and chatting about life, but I'd love to get to know you.
